Non-Distance Exams

Important: Proctor Designation and Exam Registration procedures have changed. Please see Proctored Testing Updates for the most current information about proctored testing during the university closure.

In addition to proctored testing for distance courses, FSU's Assessment & Testing facility provides a secure testing environment for a variety of other examinations to meet the needs of FSU and students of the surrounding community.

Classroom Testing

If you're enrolled in a face-to-face course that requires exams at FSU's Assessment & Testing facility, you do not need to designate a proctor, but be sure to review our Testing Center Rules before coming to the center for an exam.

Departmental Exams

These exams are sponsored by academic departments but not associated with a specific course offering. Important: Be sure to review our Testing Center Rules before coming to the center for an exam. You must be checked in during the hours your Departmental Coordinator has designated for testing. If you arrive too late for seating by the cutoff time, you will be turned away. If you arrive outside your scheduled day or time, you'll be referred to your Departmental Coordinator, who is responsible for arranging any exceptions.
